All content is hidden by default, and only content contained in the [tag] begin read [/tag] and [tag] end read [/tag] tags is revealed to non-logged in users. A message is placed in each post saying ‘This is only an excerpt of the post. To access the entire contents of this post, please login or click here to Register.’
The ‘View all content’ setting shows all content on the blog by default. Only content contained in the [tag] begin read [/tag] and [tag] end read [/tag] tags is hidden from non-logged in users. For posts where some content is hidden with the tags, a message is placed in each post saying ‘This is only an excerpt of the post.
